Keeping cool

It's been near 100 degrees here the past few days, and being New England that means the humidity has been insane as well. We put the A/C in and have been doing our best to stay cool. Jason also got a rather large wading pool for Isabel and tonight we had Auntie Sarah and Rowan and Sophia over to enjoy splashing in the water and to bbq some dinner. I got a few pics of the kids having fun. We filled it up right before we got in so the water was frigid, but the kids didn't seem to mind at all. :) Of course Sarah and I climbed right in with them too. That cold water felt amazing. :)
At first Isabel didn't want me taking her pic and this first one shows her reaction, to just run by me waving as she went. Sophia had a blast after she got over the shock of the cold water. She's 10 months old now and about to walk on her own. She is still the happiest baby ever, always full of smiles.
Not really sure what Isabel was doing here, just crawling around in the pool, I guess.
Here's one wet and happy child, in a slightly too big bathing suit. Oh well.
Handsome Rowan blowing bubbles.
Adorable Sophia again with her Mommy.
Isn't she so cute?
I love this action shot of the two, they rarely stop moving when they're together so this is a pretty good representation of what they're like.
I know all of my Jackson friends are still dealing with snow, so I'm sure this post will make them a little annoyed, sorry about that friends! ;) Come visit anytime, I'll get the wading pool ready!

That weather must be so hard to deal with. You have my pity. It was like 92 here today and we were all complaining. I keep reminding myself that we have no humidity, no flooding, no tornados (yet), no forest fires, not even half of the problems everyone else in the US is having, so we're still doing pretty well. Enjoy your pool. I may just drop in to do some wading myself.

We had the pool out here, then it was covered in snow, and then we got it out again this weekend. Crazy weather! You know you miss it! Isabel is getting so big! I'm glad you're able to be outdoors with the kids!
