Isabel is FINALLY out of her crib and in a big girl bed. YAY! We got a beautiful maple, full size, bed frame from my parent's neighbors for free. Then we got a mattress from my sister, also for free. So all we had to do was go buy Isabel all the toppings. :) She loved helping to pick out sheets and a comforter for her big bed. It's definitely a huge bed for a very little girl, but at least this way it's harder for her to fall out of it, I hope! She was so excited about her new bed and she actually did pretty good in it her first night. She woke up once pretty freaked out, but she went back to sleep pretty easily and slept all night till about 7:15, so I was happy with that. :) We took these pics right after setting it all up, Isabel was so happy to jump on and lay on her pretty bed. Jason started refinishing the headboard, but didn't make it to the foot board yet, someday. It's going to look so pretty when it's all done. Now we need to get some more decoration on her walls and get some bookshelves for her books and toys. At least my poor kid is finally out of her tiny crib!

Cool! What a great deal with the bed!!! The bedding is adorable, and it looks like it matches one of the blankies on the foot board perfectly. Is that your old kermit the froggie that she's hugging? She's getting to be such a big girl! I'm glad she did so well on her first night. Don't worry if she has a couple of freak-outs, she'll get there.
That's very fun. She looks so little in that bed. It'll be a great bed to grow up with.
